Eastern Box Turtles

While hunting for food in the leaf cluttered forest a male and female box turtles have found the same tasty treats. One has taken a bite out of the oyster mushroom before spotting the wild strawberry plant on top. The other passed up the Stinkhorn mushrooms and has climbed up to taste the ripened strawberries. There are clumps of short grasses around the piece of burl wood that this habitat represents. The piece is 8 inches high and 10 inches across.
